About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher who values collaboration, innovation, and student achievement through the 2026-2027 school year in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through inclusive classroom support, small-group instruction, and individualized teaching strategies. The teacher will develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data to guide instruction and measure progress toward goals. Collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families is essential to provide academic and behavioral supports that promote student success. The position also includes providing targeted literacy and math interventions to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve meaningful academic growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs preferred.
