About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in Boulder, Colorado. This full-time role requires someone who can provide instruction and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish while supporting students with a range of academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Requirements
- Valid state teaching credential in Special Education
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the past 5 years
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students receiving special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver instruction and communicate with students and families in both English and Spanish.
- Modify curriculum and teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.
