About The Position
Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education teacher in the center-based Communication Interaction Disorders program at Harambee Elementary School. This is a 1.0 FTE position for the 2026-27 school year starting August 31, 2026. The licensed special education teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, evaluates and assesses scholar progress, follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as the IEP manager to assigned students, collaborates with related service providers and other staff; communicates with families, and supports, directs and supervises paraprofessionals' time.
Requirements
- MN Teaching License in Autism (preferred) or ABS license with experience supporting children with autism
- Commitment to an equitable education experience for all
- Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence
