About The Position
Rolesville Charter Academy, located in Rolesville, NC, opened in 2017 and serves students K-8. This position is for a Special Education Teacher for grades 5-8th. The role is eligible for a bonus up to $5,000. National Heritage Academies (NHA) provides students with specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, which may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services. Teachers will participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
