About The Position

This position is responsible for providing professional development and differentiated and targeted support assistance to local districts based on their unique needs and goals. The role involves assessing and agreeing on support and assistance for individual sites or groups of sites, scheduling virtual and onsite meetings, tailoring support based on team and stakeholder needs, and assessing the effectiveness of support in meeting implementation goals. Additionally, the position provides technical assistance to LEA stakeholders by connecting them to resources and individuals, maintaining ongoing communication, and assessing the effectiveness of support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in education or a related field
• Strong project management background
• Background as an educator, and/or administrator, with data analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and potential solutions to benefit all student populations
• High expectations for student achievement for all student populations
• Experience leading and managing adults, and/or experience in working successfully on a team
• Successful experience in, and affinity toward, collaboration and learning from multiple sources.
• Ability to reflect a strong leadership capacity
• Experience providing successful professional development
• Strong abilities in communication with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Highly professional written and verbal communication is evident
• Proactive, professional communication and collaboration
• Minimum of three years of recent experience as an administrator, instructional coach or any similar leadership role
• Computer and applied software
• Standard office equipment, including personal computers and peripherals

Nice To Haves

• Supervisor, mid-management, or administrator certification
• Texas Special Education Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide professional development and differentiated and targeted support assistance to local districts.
• Assess and agree to the support and assistance to be made available to each individual site and/or collectively to several sites.
• Schedule virtual and onsite meetings based on the goals of the team and stakeholders.
• Tailor support based on needs of the team and systems stakeholders.
• Assess the effectiveness of the level of support in meeting needs, goals, and context of the implementation effort.
• Provide Technical Assistance to LEA Stakeholders by connecting them to resources, individuals, and/or providing support.
• Maintain ongoing communication with LEAs to support implementation efforts.
