About The Position

Lionsgate Academy's mission is designed to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences and is seeking a mission-driven Special Education Programs Supervisor to lead our Center Based program. Requirements

Current Minnesota teaching license
5 or more years working in Special Education including working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays

Nice To Haves

BCBA certification
experience with STAR, Attainments or other curriculum that addresses functional skills
2 years or more as a Supervisor or informal Leader
Experience with augmentative communication (AAC) devices
Experience as an instructional coach/mentor for special education teacher

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based classrooms on the Shoreview Campus
Direct student programming and supervise due process paperwork
Actively coach and supervise teachers in behavior management
Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
A partner and visible presences for students, staff, and families
Active collaborator in school leadership and crisis team
