About The Position

Lionsgate Academy's mission is designed to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences. They are seeking a mission-driven Special Education Program Manager to lead their Center Based program. The school is built on a foundation of inclusion, respect, and customized learning, and they need a leader ready to continue their commitment to student-centered excellence. This role involves providing leadership and oversight to a high-needs, center-based program, actively coaching and supervising licensed staff and a Paraprofessional Supervisor, collaborating with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming, and supporting students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment. The position also requires being a partner and visible presence for students, staff, and families.

Requirements

Current Minnesota teaching license
5 or more years working in Special Education
Experience working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays

Nice To Haves

BCBA certification
Experience with STAR, Attainments or other curriculum that addresses functional skills
2 years or more as a Supervisor, instructional coach/mentor or informal Leader

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based program
Actively coach and supervise 9 licensed staff and a Paraprofessional Supervisor who supervises 30 Paras
Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
A partner and visible presence for students, staff, and families
