About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in an educational setting. This position assists with instruction, behavioral strategies, IEP goals, daily living skills, and student safety.

• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/BLS Card
• Associates Degree OR completion of 60 units of college coursework OR a valid Paraprofessional certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination of offered vaccine
• Hepatitis B vaccination or declination of offered vaccine

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities, behavioral strategies, and IEP goals.
• Provide individual and group support with academics, social skills, and daily living activities.
• Monitor students and equipment to promote a safe environment.
• Assist with student care, including lifting, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Observe, document, and maintain student records according to agency and state requirements.
• Transport students to activities or appointments when required.
• Participate in training and professional development.
