Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to provide individualized classroom support during the upcoming school year in Tempe, AZ. Assist students with special education needs by supporting classroom instruction, individualized learning goals, and inclusion activities. Partner with teachers and support staff to prepare materials, reinforce lessons, and promote a positive learning environment. Support students with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtime support, and mobility, as needed. Adapt and provide flexible support across various classrooms and programs based on student and school needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment OR Associate's degree OR 60+ college credit hours
- Active CPR/First Aid Certification
- Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience supporting children with special needs (behavioral or autism support preferred)
