About The Position

DSST Public Schools is hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals for middle and high school positions at multiple locations. Paraprofessionals support the educational, behavioral, social-emotional, physical, and daily living needs of students with disabilities. Depending on campus and placement, the role may provide 1:1 support to a student who receives most instruction in a general education classroom, or work with a Center team to provide 1:1 or small-group support and instruction to students whose instruction primarily takes place in a center program. The position is full-time, benefits eligible, non-exempt, and in person. The start date is flexible, though an immediate start is preferred. Salary is $40,000–$49,500, based on up to 10 years of aligned experience in a role of similar level and responsibilities. A relocation stipend is available to those moving from more than 75 miles from Denver. DSST partners with Reach University to help paraprofessionals who do not have a bachelor’s degree earn one for free while working. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, coaching, career pathways, and participation in school professional development. DSST describes its culture as values-centered, human-focused, and focused on helping team members grow, belong, and thrive.
