Special Education Paraprofessional (3 hours /day)
About The Position
This is a part-time position for a Special Education Paraprofessional working 3 hours per day, 10 months per year, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The position is effective at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The job summary and qualifications are detailed in an attached document. The role is responsible to the Building Principal. The compensation is based on the RAVE Clerical Association, Wage Group V, according to the contractual agreement for the 2026-27 contract, with a starting hourly rate of $22.01. Paraprofessionals receive a $1.00 per hour differential in addition to their base rate. Benefits are available to new employees from their first day of active employment if they are benefit-eligible, and include medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, long term disability insurance, sick-leave, state pension plan, tax-deferred retirement savings account, and flexible spending account. Some employee groups may also receive vacation, holidays, or personal leave.
