About The Position
Braham Area Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered professional to serve as a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional at Braham Elementary School. This position is 33.75 hours per week and is scheduled for student contact days only.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Adequate oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of and ability to comply with student data privacy laws
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Ability to obtain a Paraprofessional certificate
Responsibilities
- Ability to accept direction from supervising teacher(s)
- Work effectively as a member of a professional team
- Comply with student data privacy laws
- Work effectively with students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
