About The Position
Aurora R-8 is seeking a special education paraprofessional to work with students at the PK level. This role involves assisting with pre-academics and self-care, including tasks such as potty-training, lifting, and feeding. The paraprofessional will also be responsible for documenting student progress, communicating with various individuals, and supporting students in multiple classrooms with different teachers. The position is for students who attend school Monday-Thursday, four days a week.
Requirements
- 60 college hours
- Completed the 20-hour sub course
- Have a sub certificate
- Passed the para test

Responsibilities
- Work with students at the PK level.
