About The Position

This role is for a Special Education Life Skills Aide who will help meet the physical and instructional needs of individual students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. The aide will assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. This position works under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate
