About The Position

Whittier City School District is hiring a Special Education Instructional Aide for various school sites. The district serves approximately 6,300 students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade and participates in a Special Education Cooperative (SELPA) serving students with special needs in the Whittier area.

Requirements

• Proof of high school graduation or GED.
• Pass the District Aide Proficiency Exam, or hold an AA/AS degree, or provide proof of completion of 48 semester college-level units.
