About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Special Education Counselors to provide counseling and behavioral support services to students in a school district setting in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a contract position with a Mon-Fri, specific schedule to be determined. The rate is $55/hr.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or related field preferred
- Valid counselor certification and/or LSSP license preferred
- School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and consultation services to students
- Assist with behavior management planning and interventions
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
- Consult with school staff and parents regarding student needs
- Maintain counseling logs and service records
- Perform other related duties as assigned
