About The Position

The ESE Coordinator/Teacher oversees the implementation of the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program, ensuring that students with disabilities receive the services and accommodations they need to succeed academically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience in ESE coordination or administration.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ESE services and resources across the school.
  • Monitor the development and implementation of IEPs for students with disabilities.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Provide professional development on ESE best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to special education.
  • Track and report on student progress and outcomes.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
