About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Consultants for the 2026-2027 school year in the Eugene, OR area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This role involves assisting in serving students with low incidence and social-emotional disabilities, providing behavioral and instructional support. The position is for the 2026-2027 school year and offers in-person, full-time and part-time roles. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Oregon Special Education Teacher license
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide behavioral and instructional support
