Special Education Case Manager

Lionsgate - a place for both students and staff to learn, a place to truly belong. Case Managers are the connectors, advocates, and problem-solvers at the heart of our work. They do not teach, which allows for student and family focus! Case Managers focus on their case loads (up to 17), either Middle or High School students, in a collaborative environment. Are given due process days to complete paperwork!
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Minnesota Teaching License in Special Education
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 Teaching License
- Experience with Google workspace applications or similar software necessary to complete required job tasks
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum
Responsibilities
- Connect students and families with resources.
- Advocate for students' needs.
- Problem-solve student and family challenges.
- Manage a caseload of up to 17 Middle or High School students.
- Complete paperwork using due process days.
