Full Time Special Education Case Manager and Instructor
About The Position
CPDLF has an opening on our Academic Team for a Full Time Special Education Case Manager and Instructor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IEPs, providing Direct Instruction (Learning Support), and contributing to the Special Education Department and the Academic Team. Compensation is based on experience, education level, and certifications. CPDLF is a 24/7 asynchronous K-12 PA cyber school serving learners and families across Pennsylvania. Learners have access to their learning platforms at all times and are encouraged to take ownership of their learning. Our main office is in Altoona, PA, with Drop In Learning Centers in Altoona Logan Valley Mall and Stroudsburg, PA. The CPDLF Team values developing strong, personable connections with each learner and their family, believing a personal touch is essential for fostering positive relationships. We constantly seek ways to connect, engage, and empower learners, whether virtually or face-to-face, as we believe each person matters and deserves the best opportunities to learn and grow. Our learning organization strives to individualize learning for everyone involved. CPDLF will provide professional learning for the virtual environment and training on job duties and responsibilities. Candidates selected for hiring will need to have all paperwork, clearances, and new hire tasks completed immediately upon hiring. Acceptable PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, and Act 168 forms are required. PA Teaching certification with Special Education K-12 is required.
