About The Position
The Special Education Bus Aide assists in maintaining good behavior of students during transportation to and from school and provides assistance with students' health care. This position is for a 192-day work year, approximately 5 hours per day, with shifts from 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Hours may vary based on need. Bargaining unit members will be considered before the general public.
Requirements
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the working environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Assisting in maintaining good behavior of students while they are being transported to and from school
- Providing assistance with students' health care
