T26/27 SPECIAL ED TEACHER (Hoffman-Boston ES)
About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Hoffman-Boston Elementary for SY 26/27. The role involves implementing instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, and maintaining complete and accurate student records. The teacher will collaborate with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members, monitor and assess student achievement, and attend ongoing professional learning and meetings. Salary is based on the 2026-27 salary schedule.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Special Education endorsement.
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
