About The Position

This is a Special Education Program Assistant position at Winston Campus Elementary, working 185 days a year for 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The position includes a stipend for Special Education Program Assistant duties. More information about the stipend will be provided by building administration.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold at least ONE of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL).
• If you do not currently hold a license with ISBE, you must determine eligibility and apply for the ISBE license.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance within the Special Education Program.
• Fulfill duties associated with the SEPA stipend, which involves special care for students.
• Work 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
