About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE position located at Campbell ES. The role requires reliability, dependability, flexibility, and cooperation. The assistant will be responsible for monitoring several large areas and interacting with teens and adults. Experience working with elementary students is necessary, as is the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and children. Related work as required or assigned will also be part of the duties. Assistants must meet the requirements of the NCLB and Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) at the time of hire.
Requirements
- Reliable, dependable, flexible and cooperative
- Experience working with elementary students
- Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and children
- High school diploma
- Associate Degree or two years of college study (at least 60 semester hours)
- A score of at least 455 on the Parapro Test
