About The Position

Provides management and analysis of fiduciary, investment and operational processes surrounding special asset valuations and asset set up and movement. When a fiduciary analyst has an issue or question pertaining to a special asset they will reach out to this group. Analyzes complex documentation including subscription agreements, operating agreements, management letters, annual reports, and financial statements to ensure proper documentation, valuation, and treatment of special assets to conform with regulatory and compliance requirements. Provides consultation, direction and advice to internal and external customers & service providers related to special assets. Reviews existing processes and drives improvements/implementation. Updates standard operating procedures and ensures non-standard processing is in accordance with AMG's risk appetite. Participates in and serves as subject matter resource for projects. Reviews reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance. Participates in risk mitigation activities and ensures all activities comply with regulatory and policy and procedure requirements. Executes complex transactions/processes utilizing standard proceduresand at times addresses unique situations and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established service levels and applicable procedures. Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
