About The Position

This role serves as a facilitative lead and proactive coach for improvement activities, leveraging a wide range of expertise. The Senior Operational Transformation Specialist builds relationships with leaders, clinicians, front-line care teams, and other stakeholders across the region to assess and enhance systems, aiming for optimal organizational process outcomes. Utilizing their expertise, relationships, and both qualitative and quantitative data, this position supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of processes and systems to translate strategic goals into actionable tactical plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous leadership/management/project management experience
  • Relevant industry standard certification in Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management, Healthcare Management Engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts, which may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.
  • Drives progress of projects including overseeing the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Manages work plan, scope, and aids in assessment of resource requirements to achieve desired outcomes and directs re-engineering efforts.
  • Ensures that projects are achieving the expected business outcomes.
  • Analyzes and documents processes, procedures, and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
  • Communicates, collaborates, networks with, and acts as a consultant to key stakeholders, business partners, and executive level leadership to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendations for leadership consideration.
  • Is competent to work all phases of the project with executive level leadership.
  • Provides guidance, direction, and training to less experienced Specialists, acting as a mentor to others.
  • Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.
