About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing healthcare provider. This position is responsible for implementing the department’s Continuous Improvement program on one or more shifts. Key areas of emphasis include the delivery of technical training to instrument technicians, performance and documentation of quality assurance audits, ensuring TJC and AAMI compliance, orientation of newly hired instrument technicians, promoting certification activities throughout the department, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Two (2) years sterile processing or related field experience.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT) through the Central Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree
• One (1) year of Sterile Processing or related field supervisory experience.
• One (1) year of experience in training and/or education.
