About The Position

The SPD Endo Tech is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of malfunctioning equipment and damaged instrumentation, scopes, and endoscopes for customers. This role involves cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing instruments and trays. The technician also contributes to quality assurance activities, lean/process improvement projects, and the overall efficiency of daily workflow. The primary goal is to provide high-level disinfection (HLD) and sterilized equipment and instruments for clinical and surgical procedures.

• No directly related experience

Responsibilities

• Accurately records and reports malfunctioning equipment and damaged instrumentation, scopes and endo scopes and supplies, in order to ensure timely availability for customers.
• Cleans or decontaminates using manual or mechanical means, inspects and assembles instruments into trays, sterilizes, selects instruments and trays to assemble case carts.
• Participates in quality assurance activities and lean/process improvement projects.
• Contributes to the efficiency of daily work flow.
• Provides HLD (high level disinfection) and sterilized equipment and instruments for clinical and surgical procedures.
