About The Position

Magic Memories is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher to join their team. This role involves traveling to two locations per day across multiple centers. The position focuses on developing and delivering engaging Spanish lessons, ensuring children's health and safety, and creating a supportive educational environment. Additional responsibilities can be added for candidates interested in full-time hours.

Requirements

Must be Fluent in Spanish
Min. 2 years of experience in early childhood education & Spanish teaching
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in the above categories and 1 year of experience with children.
An associate's degree in the above categories and 2 years of experience.
An associate's degree includes 30 hours in the above categories and 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Offer a Spanish Program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of both the individual and the group.
Interact with the children using the Spanish Language and to encourage their involvement in group activities incorporating the colors, shapes, numbers and sharing.
Treat each child with dignity and respect but with open affection.
Prepare a warm, safe, and affectionate environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing and permits the child to grow and to explore.
Plan lesson plans using the program themes to guide topics and instruction.
Establish and maintain good communication with other Teachers to ensure that all lessons and instruction will be accurately represented in parent communication.
Observe, record and report significant individual and group behavior.
