About The Position

École Bilingue seeks a qualified, full-time Spanish Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. The teacher will provide Spanish instruction to students in Grades 4 through 8, designing engaging lessons that develop communication skills while cultivating an appreciation for the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking cultures. Working closely with both French and English faculty, the Spanish teacher will contribute to our collaborative, multilingual learning environment and help students make meaningful connections across languages and cultures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
  • Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the elementary and/or middle school level
  • Experience teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language preferred
  • Familiarity with ACTFL proficiency standards is an asset
  • An enthusiasm for multilingual education and international-mindedness is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of French is appreciated but is not required.
