About The Position

St. Martin’s Lutheran School is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and mission-aligned Spanish Teacher to lead language instruction for students in PK3 through Grade 8. This educator will introduce and develop students’ Spanish language skills through intentional, age-appropriate instruction that builds listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities over time. The role requires the ability to work across developmental levels—from early exposure in Early Childhood to more structured, skill-based learning in Middle School. This is an opportunity for an educator who is energized by the work of building a cohesive language program and contributing to a school that is strengthening its academic program, systems, and culture.

Requirements

Fluency in Spanish required.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Familiarity with diverse teaching strategies and technology integration.
Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong cultural awareness.

Nice To Haves

Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish is preferred.
Experience in teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school students preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver standards-aligned Spanish instruction appropriate to each developmental level (PK3–8).
