Spanish Teacher Toddler - Grade 3
About The Position
Wellan Montessori School is seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join its faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. This position begins on August 27th, 2026. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for teaching Spanish to students from Beginners (age 15 months) through Grade 3, using a wide variety of interactive activities that expose students to the language and support the development of increasing proficiency over time. In addition to classes taught during the school day, the Spanish Teacher will support the after-school program by designing and facilitating Spanish clubs and providing general support. The ideal candidate is an experienced Spanish teacher for toddlers through Grade 3 who excels in curriculum planning and lesson delivery while creating a safe, orderly, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. They are well-organized, flexible, and collaborative, with strong classroom management, problem-solving, and communication skills, and bring a passion for sharing the Spanish language and culture- engaging and inspiring students to develop enthusiasm, confidence, and a foundation for becoming global citizens.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or beyond in related field
- Experience teaching children ages toddler through Grade 3
- Minimum of 3 professional references required
