About The Position

St. Andrew School is seeking a Spanish Teacher for grades K-5 for the 2026/2027 school year. The role involves assisting students in mastering curriculum skills and information while fostering their growth in faith and responsibility. Teachers are expected to integrate Catholic teachings and virtues, understand student learning and diversity, know their subject matter, use varied assessments, plan and deliver effective instruction, create Christ-centered learning environments, collaborate with stakeholders, and assume responsibility for their professional and spiritual growth.

Requirements

  • Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach.
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks.
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught.
  • Religious Education certification as required by the diocese.

  • Create Christ-centered learning environments that promote high levels of learning and achievement for all students.
  • Collaborate and communicate with students, parents, other educators, administrators, and the faith community to support student development, learning, and faith.
  • Assume responsibility for their professional academic/spiritual growth, performance, and involvement as an individual and as a member of a Catholic learning community.
