About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Spanish Teacher for a client in Mercer Island, Washington. This is a one-to-one, general Spanish course for a beginner student (age 56-64) who wishes to learn for travel purposes. The classes will be held at the student's home and are scheduled for two hours per week, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. The total course duration is 10 hours. The start date is ASAP. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability.
Requirements
- Native Spanish speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Mercer Island, Washington.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Spanish language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct classes at the student's home in Mercer Island, Washington.
- Adhere to the scheduled class times of Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 5:30 pm for two hours per session.
- Adapt teaching methods to the student's motivation for travel.
