Spanish Language Teacher (ELE) in Dorado, Puerto Rico
About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring a Spanish Language Teacher (ELE) to provide in-person lessons to our client in Dorado. The student is an adult female who has recently relocated to Puerto Rico. Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Dorado, near Restaurante La Pérgola and Lago del Mirador Dorado (00646). The student is a complete beginner in Spanish, her main goal is to understand and participate in simple everyday conversations with local people. She enjoys conversation practice, prefers structured lessons with a clear lesson plan, and values learning through a variety of methods. She would like to focus on building vocabulary, pronunciation, common everyday expressions, conversations with native speakers, and practical language for healthcare, safety, making friends, and daily life. She loves food, sports, and travelling.
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Spanish
- Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of Spanish (ELE) teaching experience
Nice To Haves
- Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning (8:00am – 12:00pm)
- Lesson Frequency and Duration: Three times per week, 1 hour per session
- Student's language needs and goals: As a complete beginner in Spanish, her main goal is to understand and participate in simple everyday conversations with local people.
- She enjoys conversation practice, prefers structured lessons with a clear lesson plan, and values learning through a variety of methods.
- She would like to focus on building vocabulary, pronunciation, common everyday expressions, conversations with native speakers, and practical language for healthcare, safety, making friends, and daily life.
- Additional information: She loves food, sports, and travelling.
