About The Position

We are a recognized leader in high-quality medical interpretation, providing seamless Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services that bridge vital communication gaps in the global healthcare sector.

We are seeking a skilled, highly motivated English-Spanish Interpreter to join our 100% remote team in Latin America. Initially focused on OPI, this role offers a clear pathway to advance into VRI. You will be responsible for providing accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings, as well as facilitating crucial communication in social services and financial contexts.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.
• Minimum C1 fluency in English. Valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE accepted.
• Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months (ALTA: Minimum score of 9 required; LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required).
• Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology.
• Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.
• Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
• A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is mandatory (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited).
• A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset.
• Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM.
• The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
• A dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant working environment.
