About The Position
The company is seeking Spanish-English bilingual interpreters for a freelance, in-person interpreting opportunity in Mesa, Arizona. Interpreters help people with limited English proficiency and make a positive impact in the community. The opportunity offers flexibility in work hours.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Informal or professional interpretation experience.
Nice To Haves
- A two-year degree, an equivalent qualification from a two-year college or technical school, six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required; examples include pharmacy, nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, patient care, nursing practicum, pharmaceutical sales, CNA or LVN/RN work, or hospital volunteering.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person interpretation for people with limited English proficiency.
- Help serve and support the local community.
