About The Position
Language Services Associates (LSA) is seeking Spanish interpreters in the Los Angeles, CA area to join their network of independently contracted interpreters. In this role, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings. LSA is actively seeking qualified interpreters for a diverse range of assignments.
Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and Spanish
- The ability to provide a high level of client service
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
- Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service
- Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
- Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
- Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
- Access to personal or public transport
