About The Position

The Spanish Enrichment Teacher at The Baltimore Montessori, Canton, develops and implements age-appropriate Spanish curriculum for early childhood students. The teacher plans engaging activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, monitors and documents student progress, and helps create a safe, harmonious, and positive learning environment. The role involves working with children and collaborating and communicating with parents and fellow staff members.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Some college coursework in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
One year of experience providing Spanish instruction.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for Early Childhood education.
Meet state-specific requirements.

Nice To Haves

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
One year of experience with multiple age groups, from infants to age five, in Early Childhood or Elementary education preferred.
