About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Spanish Speaking Assistant Guide for their Hampshire school, specifically working with Toddlers. This role involves supporting children aged 0-6 in developing independence, confidence, and a love for learning within a mixed-age Montessori classroom. The Assistant Guide will help create a calm and engaging environment, prepare learning spaces, and support children through individualized and small-group activities with respect and patience. The goal is to help children build confidence and discover their capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
• A genuine love for working with young children

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community
