The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and to assist in further development of the Spanish program. Adjunct faculty develops courses, plans classes, implements and evaluates teaching/learning objective and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for online, hybrid and face-to-face classes in Spanish at all levels of proficiency; comply with departmental curriculum, grading standards, attendance policies, textbook choices, semester teaching evaluations, and other established procedures; return college reports, credentials, and other requested documentation in a timely manner; as well as effectively communicate with appropriate staff and the Spanish program coordinator.
