About The Position

HawkEye 360 is seeking a Spacecraft Assembly Technician to join its Space Team. The Space Systems Engineering group builds, tests, launches, operates, and maintains a constellation of small commercial satellites, and operates part of the ground-station segment used to communicate with them. The satellite clusters and ground segments provide a platform for RF data collection that supports HawkEye 360’s core business. The technician will interpret complex assembly instructions, carefully handle sensitive spacecraft components, and document work accurately. The role involves assembling and integrating flight hardware across spacecraft development, supporting troubleshooting and inspections, coordinating parts and shipments, maintaining lab inventory, and assembling electronic ground support equipment for testing. The technician will document procedures and work steps, complete assignments independently within schedule, communicate questions or problems promptly, work in cleanroom and ESD-sensitive environments, and occasionally travel for launch-site integration and testing campaigns.
