About The Position

LV8D Solutions supports national security space and intelligence customers delivering next-generation sensing and exploitation capabilities. The role of Space Vehicle Test Engineer is a Satellite Systems Engineer with deep Space Vehicle Assembly Integration and Test (SV Al&T). This role provides technical support, coaching and mentoring Government points of contact (GPOCs) relative to ongoing SVAl&T activities happening across diverse geographically located contractor facilities. LV8D Solutions is seeking a Space Vehicle Test Engineer to support the GPOC overseeing SV Al&T providing critical insight to the prime contractor's execution of Al&T. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
9-14 year experience in ATLO, Al&T or Systems engineering for space programs
Proven leadership in Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) activities, including team management and stakeholder coordination
Familiarity with Department of War (DoW)/Intelligence Community (IC) programs and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance
Strong organizational and communication skills within high pressure environments
Experience in reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, discrepancy resolution and on-site support
U.S. Citizenship
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph

Nice To Haves

INCOSE ESEP or CSEP
Master degree and 8 years of experience
Experience using systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy solutions for Satellite Systems.
Experience as an intelligence analyst with demonstrated skills in communicating with analytical communities
Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support.
Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) construct and Earned Value processes

Responsibilities

Directs Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) operations and activities
Supports staffing, planning and headcount allocation to ensure adequate in-plant coverage for critical operations
Supports ATLO schedule assessments and Al& T planning activities
Facilitates factory inquiries and on-site visits
Tracks special topics impacting Al&T progress and participate in relate forums and working groups to facilitate resolution
Reviews procedures, witness floor operations, and provide independent verification to improve operational safety and efficiency
Conducts requirements and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) reviews; providing feedback as necessary
Provides Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP) coverage and report when available
Informs customer of Al&T status via verbal, daily written and ad hoc reports
Leverages contractor reports, floor walks, and interviews to maintain situational awareness
Serves as primary communication channel for technical and operational updates
