About The Position

Stellar Solutions is seeking a Space Vehicle Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force’s GPS III Follow-On (GPS IIIF) program. GPS IIIF is the next generation of the Global Positioning System, with enhanced protection against signal interference, improved precision, and search-and-rescue capabilities. The role contributes to engineering, integration, testing, and delivery of spacecraft supporting national defense and global navigation. The engineer will support the Government team in overseeing GPS IIIF spacecraft and subsystem technical development, integration, verification, and testing. Working with Government stakeholders and contractor engineering teams, the role assesses system performance and technical progress, identifies integration risks, and supports acquisition and engineering milestones. The successful candidate will communicate complex engineering information as actionable assessments that help inform program execution and mission readiness. The position is located in El Segundo, California; a hybrid or remote work style may be considered. An active Secret security clearance is required, and a Top Secret clearance is desired. The typical annual salary range is $115,000–$145,000. The position is eligible for an annual performance bonus, an employer-funded Profit-Sharing Plan contribution, employer-paid medical benefits, PTO pay-out options, and additional company-sponsored benefits. The company states that these benefits represent an additional 30–40% of base compensation toward total compensation. Deliverables may include engineering assessments, technical reports, test evaluations, program reviews, risk analyses, briefings, and other Government-directed products. The engineer will help assess spacecraft technical integrity, integration readiness, and performance as the vehicles progress toward delivery and operational capability.
