About The Position

As a Space Solutions Architect, you will support Combatant Commands and Service Components by identifying technology-based solutions for capability gaps, coordinating with your counterparts across geographies, and synergizing where possible. Your background and experience supporting Space and Joint mission areas will prove critical to gaining an understanding of current and future challenges that could hinder performance in exercises or a future fight. Similarly, it will aid your ability to craft ideal-state solutions and compare against commer cia lly available options. You may also be depended upon to advise senior leaders on available space capabilities and their applicability in-region. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • Experience with space within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community as a Commissioned Officer, Senior NCO, or Contractor
  • Experience supporting Combatant Commands or Service Component Commands
  • Experience researching, developing, organizing, and presenting materials for senior company and DoD leadership
  • Experience organizing, training, and equipping functions, including Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System ( JCIDS ) activities, Analyses of Alternatives ( AoAs ) , Concept of Operations ( CONOPs ) , and Defense Acquisitions
  • Knowledge of DoD requirements and acquisition processes
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience serving in a leadership position on a Joint or Service Staff
  • Experience using analytical tools to display the impacts of capability tradeoffs and impacts on potential alternatives such as CAMEO or DAF DEE
  • Experience performing risk analyses and proposing risk mitigations
  • Experience with Joint Exercises
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Graduate of an Advanced Military Studies program such as SAMS or JAWS

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
