About The Position

Summit Technologies is seeking a highly qualified Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Instructor, Subject Matter Expert to support the U.S. Space Force Combat Forces Command (CFC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Enterprise. The successful candidate will deliver advanced intelligence instruction, develop course materials, facilitate practical exercises, and support curriculum modernization efforts for Intelligence Guardians and ISR professionals. This position plays a critical role in preparing personnel to conduct intelligence operations in support of space and joint warfighting missions. The instructor will provide classroom, virtual, and Mobile Training Team (MTT) instruction while ensuring training materials remain current with evolving operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in STEM.
  • Minimum 8 years of intelligence, ISR, military operations, or national security experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of formal instructor, trainer, or curriculum development experience.
  • Experience delivering intelligence-related training in military, government, or Intelligence Community environments.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience briefing military personnel and senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a military instructor certification program.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Air Force, USSPACECOM, or Intelligence Community organizations.
  • Experience with instructional systems design methodologies.
  • Experience supporting targeting, SIGINT, GEOINT, FISINT, cyber intelligence, or all-source intelligence missions.
  • Prior experience conducting Mobile Training Team (MTT) instruction.
  • Familiarity with Air Force and Space Force training development standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led training in classroom, virtual, and distributed learning environments.
  • Facilitate practical exercises, case studies, mission planning events, and capstone activities.
  • Evaluate student performance through examinations, exercises, and practical assessments.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to students.
  • Maintain instructional excellence and ensure learning objectives are achieved.
  • Support Mobile Training Team (MTT) events at domestic and international locations.
  • Develop, review, and update Programs of Instruction (POIs), lesson plans, presentations, and student materials.
  • Create and maintain instructor guides, student workbooks, assessments, and practical exercises.
  • Conduct curriculum reviews to ensure course content reflects current intelligence doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Government subject matter experts to incorporate operational updates and lessons learned.
  • Support accreditation, quality assurance, and curriculum governance activities.
  • Assist Government personnel with course scheduling and training planning.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and evaluation documentation.
  • Support after-action reviews and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in instructor workshops, curriculum reviews, and program meetings.
  • Provide recommendations for training enhancements and modernization efforts.
