About The Position

Aleut Federal is seeking a Space Intelligence Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role is crucial for refining the training of enlisted Guardians to better prepare the USSF for dominating in the space-domain. Enlisted Guardians serve as technical specialists, leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors in satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations. The GET initiative aims to transform initial skills training to meet the Chief of Space Operations’ vision for technical depth in knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

  • Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
  • Experience developing curriculum using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) standards.
  • Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or Community College of the Air Force associates degree in Intelligence Studies and Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ISD-based curriculum/lesson development.
  • Minimum 3 years of space experience in the specific mission area of this position with a US Government agency.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Perform curriculum development and instruction across a wide range of Intelligence-related disciplines including: US space capabilities, space systems, ground systems, and operational employment of space assets; support foundational and advanced space operations instruction.
  • Introductory intelligence curriculum; teach intelligence community structure, intelligence disciplines (SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, OSINT, etc.), intelligence processes, and foundational tradecraft.
  • Intelligence tradecraft instruction; teach intelligence fusion, threat analysis, briefing techniques, analytical writing, reporting, and presentation skills; mentor students in intelligence products and briefing delivery.
  • Joint targeting curriculum; teach targeting methodology, targeting cycle processes, target development, and space-related targeting considerations; support intelligence and operational integration events.
  • Foreign threats to space operations; provide instruction on adversary space capabilities, systems, tactics, and threat analysis supporting operational planning and exercises.
  • Assess and mentor students.
  • Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
  • Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
  • Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
  • Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
