We have an exciting opportunity for a Space Hardware Project Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If selected you will provide design and test support in various aspects of development in support of the Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate. You will support project teams with development of test procedures and verification and validation processes, perform testing and verification of flight hardware, and maintain and ensure baseline test configurations and document any configuration changes. You will also generate essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as needed. Work in a collaborative, team environment and report to project managers for technical support, task assignment, and processes. Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within hardware or test support hardware. Perform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructions and work with technicians to build and test designed systems. Perform other duties as required.
