MRI Technologies, NASA's largest engineering solutions provider, is looking for a Space Hardware Project Engineer to join our team with the JETS Contract, supporting the Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate. In this role you will help envision, shape, and deliver the systems that enable exploration of space while benefiting people here on Earth, contributing to NASA's pursuits in deep space exploration. A Day in the Life Your responsibilities will include providing design and test support across various phases of hardware development, and supporting project teams with test procedures and verification and validation processes. You will perform testing and verification of flight hardware, and maintain and ensure baseline test configurations, documenting any configuration changes. A core part of the role is generating essential paperwork for assigned tasks, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP). You will work in a collaborative team environment, reporting to project managers for technical support, task assignment, and processes. You will also plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within hardware or test support hardware, working closely with technicians to build and test designed systems.
