Aleut FederalVandenberg, CA
$85,000 - $225,000Onsite

About The Position

Aleut is seeking a Space Fundamentals Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent upon contract award). In 2023, the Chief of Space Operations (CSO) initiated an effort to refine the roles for Space Force officer, enlisted, and civilian Guardians to better prepare the USSF for dominating in the space-domain. In this new construct, the enlisted Guardians serve as the technical specialists that execute orders while serving as leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors to their officer and civilian counterpart across satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations in the space-domain. The development, education and training of the enlisted force starts with the foundation built during Initial Skills Training. To achieve this level of technical depth across knowledge, skills and abilities, the USSF is transforming its initial skills training to meet the CSO’s vision. This evolution is called the GET initiative.
